With 2017 drawing to a close, we wanted to take the time to recap an amazing year serving the city we love. We have continued to grow as a company and we’re proud of our whole team for making 2017 a landmark year! In the spring of 2017, we moved to a state-of-the-art office space! Built from the ground up, it was a change of scenery for sure! Having our sales team and dispatch department all under one roof assured the best communication for our customers and for our company as a whole! Take a look at the transformation:

What a transformation! Another major highlight of 2017 was the launch of our Northbrook Storage Facility. New City Moving proudly offers both short-term and long-term storage options! It’s a big step for us and we’re glad you took it with us. This means that the same company you trust to move your valuables to your new home can safely store those items for as long as you need. We’re thrilled to have our professional movers load and unload your valuables in a storage facility that tailors to your every need. We’d like to thank our valued customers for helping launch our storage facility with a major success rate!

Some of the biggest highlights this year came from giving back to our community. One of our major events was hosting a Furniture Build-Out Day shining a spotlight on combatting homelessness! We took advantage of our new office space and delivered furniture to help turn their new houses into homes. Another major highlight this year was volunteering for the Lincoln Park Community Shelter serving and preparing meals to empower men and women experiencing homelessness. We’re grateful that we were able to give back in 2017! We staffed up with our strongest sales team ever and managed to garner more than 2,034 reviews on Yelp thanks to our exemplary crews. We assure you we’re working harder than ever to keep moving as painless, cost-effective and easy as possible.
